Five More Join The Mix!

Grace Williams: Thankfully, Grace just couldn’t resist the Cherokee forefathers’ call back to the Heavenly World for a second summer! After jetting back to America from Seville, Spain in May, Grace will hang her hat in North Carolina for the summer. Grace’s finishing up her junior year at Washington & Lee and originally hails from Greenville, South Carolina. We couldn’t be more excited to get this world traveler back on staff for the summer!

Sara Anderson: Hailing from the Music City in Tennessee, Sara is a freshman at the University of Georgia who heard about Illahee through a close high school friend. We can’t wait for Sara to spend the summer with us; she made the trek up the mountain a few weeks ago to walk the trails of Illahee and spend the weekend in Asheville with her mom. She will bring wonderful energy to our staff this summer!

Anna Simmons: Luckily Anna won’t be spending the summer in LaGrange, Georgia, where she grew up; we’ve got her back for her third summer on staff! Anna brings excitement and her hilarious sense of humor to Heigh Ho; we just love that curly head of hair and her great laugh. Anna is finishing up her sophomore year at Clemson, just down the road from Brevard.

Kaki Pope: We’ve been itching for Kaki to get back to the Heavenly World, and the day is finally here! Kaki’s a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill and grew up coming to Illahee summer after summer, and we can’t wait for her to get to enjoy the Heavenly world in 2012. Kaki grew up in Atlanta and has two younger sisters who both adore having an older sister on staff.

Sarah Hart: Somehow we managed to coax Sarah away from the labs at the Vanderbilt Medical Center to work in the Heavenly for July and August! Sarah will spend June working on her medical school applications and then head to Brevard to shake off all of that studying. She currently works in an lab focusing on Autism research at Vanderbilt; she’ll bring quite the wealth of knowledge to Illahee this summer!
