Camp Illahee seeks to instill in its campers essential qualities that will serve them their entire lives: confidence, conviction, integrity, faith in God and an abiding respect for the natural world and all its wonders.
Our approach is simple enough. We provide a supportive, congenial atmosphere in which young women can forge friendships and experience a wide array of activities that encourage self-reliance, faith and self-esteem. We also strive to foster imagination, help campers develop a strong sense of self and promote the importance of community.
Days spent outdoors underscore the importance of the natural world and inspire long-term stewardship. And in a world that's become increasingly reliant on the virtual experience, Illahee offers girls the chance to participate in hands-on activities and supervised exploration of the natural world.
