It’s going to be the BEST staff ever for the best summer ever. Veteran Nurse and camp “mom” Denise was chatting with Gordon and Laurie this evening and said, “you all got all of the best ones back”! Indeed. It’s a “who’s who” of camp favorites and one is going to be YOUR counselor this summer for what is sure to be an Illahee Hall of Fame summer! Arriving counselors can’t stop talking about how GREAT camp looks with all of the new improvements. Even the star kitchen crew is back including Robin, April, Susan and Terry! We have three different managers from three of the local schools plus Terry who has been tempting our tastebuds with all sorts of creative fare.
With all the training of lifeguards and climbers, paddlers, and riders…plus all of the other orientation activities, Gordon slipped away late this afternoon for one last plunge down Sliding Rock to make sure everything is A.O.K. for the June campers. September thru May. The Sliding Rock Challenge is complete. Stay tuned for the video. We can’t wait for Sunday! Woo Hoo!
